I am a program manager at Passion for Action, in conjunction with VACC (Vancouver Area Cycling Coalition) we created an interactive website for Vancouver Bike to Work Week.

Bike to Work Week May 2009 had nearly 6,000 registered participants who recorded over a million kilometres pedalled during the week throughout Metro Vancouver. Driving that distance would take 238,140 litres of gas, and cost $259,572 and would emit nearly 40,000 kilograms of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere of the region.

This website was a tremendous success that allowed teams to register, track their routes with a commuter tracking tool, and compete with other teams.
